INTERVIEW WITH CHOREOGRAPHER ASHLEY PETERSEN

 Ashley Petersen has been dancing ever since she was little. Over the last few years, Ashley has taught dance at a local dance studio, choreographed for schools, and continued to grow her education in dance at Austin Community College. She plans to transfer to Texas Woman's University in the fall.

    In the way a forest becomes darker and heavier the deeper you go, this piece takes the viewer through a journey into the depths of one’s mind, self, and inner experience. In revealing the dense layers, the audience is invited to get lost in their own condensed inner workings.
