INTERVIEW WITH CHOREOGRAPHER BRIANNA KUNKEL

Brianna has been dancing as a form of self-expression since her childhood. Her connection to movement led her to join her high school dance team and move on to study Dance in college. After a brief break, she decided to continue her studies at Austin Community College, where she is pursuing her Associate of Arts degree in Dance. Throughout her journey, she has had the opportunity to choreograph and collaborate on projects with other talented dancers, pushing the boundaries of her creativity and expression. Brianna hopes to continue pursuing creative opportunities while inspiring others to express themselves through movement.
Her piece introspection/in bloom takes inspiration from the experience of oneself. There are moments when we can see into the depths of ourselves, uninterrupted by the external. It is in these moments that we are in bloom.
